A FLEXIBLE WAY TO LEARN PIANO

These lessons are designed for students who want clear guidance, steady progress, and a personal approach to learning. Whether you are starting from the beginning, returning after a break, or looking to strengthen your technique and musicianship, lessons are adapted to your pace and interests.

Who these lessons are for

Beginners

These lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, or adults who are starting from the beginning. This may include students who have just bought a piano or keyboard and are looking for a clear, supportive introduction to the instrument, with attention to technique, rhythm, reading, and musical foundations.

Returning students

If you studied piano in the past and would like to come back to it with more structure and motivation, lessons can help you rebuild technique, recover reading skills, and make the instrument feel familiar again.

Focused goals

This is also a good option for students who already have a more specific objective, such as learning particular pieces, improving technique, preparing for exams, or developing their musical understanding in a more structured way.

Adult learners

Many adults look for a calm and flexible way to learn, whether for personal enjoyment, artistic growth, or a long-postponed musical goal. Piano study can also be a rewarding way to stay mentally active and support overall wellbeing as you age.

What you can learn

Lessons are adapted to each student, but here are some of the main areas we can work on.

Technique

Posture, hand coordination, rhythm, scales, articulation, and ease at the keyboard.

Reading & Theory

Notation, rhythm, harmony, chords, and the understanding that supports more confident playing.

Repertoire & Styles

Music that reflects your interests and goals, including classical, jazz, pop, Latin, and other styles.

Expression & Musicianship

Interpretation, listening, phrasing, accompaniment, and a more musical connection with the instrument.

What you need for online lessons

A simple and practical setup is enough to begin.

  • Time to practise between sessions

My approach

Clear guidance, steady progress, and a personal approach.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and musical interests. Some students are just beginning, some are returning to the piano after time away, and others are looking for support with specific pieces or technical challenges. My aim is to create a learning process that feels clear, encouraging, and sustainable over time.

Alongside technique, I also place importance on listening, musical understanding, and helping each student build a more confident and personal connection with the instrument.

FAQ

  • All lessons are one-to-one, live, and held online via video call. Once you purchase a lesson or package, you will receive instructions to book your session at a time that suits you.

  • Each lesson is 60 minutes.

  • No. Lessons are adapted to your level, whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience already.

  • A piano or keyboard, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.

  • Each lesson is built around you. We work on reading music so you have a solid foundation and a shared language to communicate — this makes learning faster and more intuitive over time. Alongside that, we learn pieces you actually want to play. If a piece is too advanced, I arrange a simpler version so you can start playing music you love from the beginning, not after months of exercises.

  • All packages cover the same content — the difference is simply continuity and cost. More lessons at once means a lower price per lesson, but more importantly, it means steadier progress. Learning an instrument takes consistency, and a package helps you build that. If you are not sure yet, the trial lesson is the best place to start.

  • Yes — the trial lesson is designed exactly for that. It gives you the chance to experience the format and teaching style before choosing a package. The trial lesson can be rescheduled once. After that, a new trial lesson must be purchased.

  • Packages must be used within a set period from the date of purchase: the 8-lesson package within 3 months, and the 4-lesson package within 6 weeks. Lessons not used within this period will be forfeited.

  • Yes, with conditions. You may reschedule or cancel a lesson provided you give at least 12 hours notice before the scheduled start time. Rescheduling means the lesson takes place at a different time — either as a make-up session or in a different week. The 8-lesson package allows a maximum of 2 reschedules. The 4-lesson package allows a maximum of 1 reschedule.

  • The lesson will be considered as taken and no refund or make-up session will be provided. This policy exists to protect the consistency of your learning and to respect scheduled time on both sides.

  • In the event of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances on Zoé's side, a make-up session will always be guaranteed.

  • No. All purchases are final. This is why a trial lesson is available — so you can experience the teaching style and format before committing to a package.
